Arkansas State Regulation

Is Metal Detecting allowed:  YES on public swim beaches with registration.

Metal Detecting is currently allowed at Designated State Park Public Swimming Beaches from the day after Labor Day until the weekend preceding Memorial Day. 

It may occur from the hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Sunday through Saturday at the following locations:  Crowleys Ridge,  Daisy, DeGray Lake Resort, Lake Catherine, Lake Charles, Lake Dardanelle, Lake Ouachita, Village Creek and Woolly Hollow. 


Detectorists must complete a registration from and keep it on their person.
